With decades of experience, Signal Partners is a pioneer in wireless solution since day one. Signal Partners was established in April 2010 when the distinguished professionals Finnohm and Signal Networks were merged in Finland. The two companies with different backgrounds, yet similar company philosophy and product portfolios have joined their forces – and created a leading ICT partner in the Nordics.

Over 30 years of experience

Finnohm’s work as a partner for the industry has started already in 1974. And the family-owned company build their first wireless radio networks in 1978. Signal Networks’ knowhow in wireless has been built up since early 1990s and from 2005 onwards with the name Signal Networks.
The first thoughts of the merger rose in 2008, when the manufacturers LXE and Åkerströms were partially merged, making Finnohm and Signal Networks’ product portfolios even more similar. The final decision on the merger was made in 2009 and Signal Partners was established 1.4.2010. The company has over 30 years of experience from windings to radio networks and wireless technology – all the knowhow and understanding for the customers to use and benefit.

Expansion and evolution

In the fall 2010, Signal Partners expanded to Sweden by opening an office in Stockholm. Soon after the company acquired the Swedish provider of the ruggedized and mobile solutions, iTMC (InTime Mobile Computers Europe AB). The acquisition substantially strengthened Signal Partners’ Scandinavian organization. The iTMC acquisition also brought up a possibility to expand to Denmark, which was gladly accepted. The Danish EmComp’s business activities were transferred to Signal Partners.

With operations in Finland, Sweden and Denmark and a desire to serve customers anywhere, we dare to claim ourselves as the Nordics’ best ICT partner.
